Title: Use e.g. Google Code or GitHub instead of Dropbox.

There are online code repositories that were made specifically for open source development. I recommend those instead of Dropbox.

It's up to you where you upload your own releases. :)
We'll be mirroring the final games ourselves.

BTW what is the size limit for GitHub free repos?

Can't find solid info about it.

I'm gonna be working with GML, which in many cases should one giant file that contains everything - sprites, code, music, etcetc. Not that I know the upsides to google code or github, but I believe dropbox will be more convenient for me as I already use it quite a bit.

Hey, Game Maker Studio can do collab tools so I upload each revision on GitHub.
You should specify it's GM8 and not GML since GM:S can use Git and SVN.
