Title: Game Creating Programs
Post by: Loyk on 2012-September 19, 04:33:28
Hey everypony! :3

I'm under the impression that game programs (i.e. GameMaker, Construct 2, etc) are not allowed, and that we should be coding them ourselves.
Is this correct? I'm terrible at programming, but I want to participate. /:

Thanks.

They are allowed. They are frameworks and engines. The point is to make a game from scratch.
You have to write the program yourself though.

Drag and Drop is allowed. GML is allowed. OOP is allowed.

Eeyup!
This is about making a game, not programming. What tools you choose is pretty much up to you. :)
