Is using Flash OK?

This may sound as quite a stupid question, but I couldn’t find anyone talking about Flash, so I decided to ask while it’s still not too late. This is the only software I’m experienced enough with to create a game, so I’ll have to drop out if it’s not allowed.  :(

Flash games are allowed in the competition  ;)

Flash is completely okay since the developing tools and the Flash Player are free to use :)
