Can I use a synthesizer?
« on: 2012-September 30, 22:44:39 »
I'm talking about those plastic electronic piano things. Internally they use samples recorded from real pianos (and other instruments), and therefore we can't use them. Is that correct?

I'd say there's no problem in using samples that come with your hard or software, as long as you're composing the whole song from scratch.

That's almost the same thing as if you were asking if you would have to create your own language or build your own hardware since you're using possible closed source and commercial projects on the hardware or interpreter level ;)
